Super fun, Mid-80s track bike with stiff frame and nice geometry. Has been ridden at the velodrome sporadically with a few neighborhood jaunts as well.

Thinking of selling the frame/fork/headset.

Nice! I have the same frame, just a couple sizes bigger. In fact, I have the same stem on it, too. I'm curious: did you swap out the original fork yourself, or was the replacement fork already on there when you bought it?

RE: Nice! I have the same frame,

Actually, I bought the fork for it (there was no fork with the frame at purchase). Because of the long head tube, I had trouble finding a 1" threaded fork, which would fit. Ultimately, I had to settle on a 700c road fork, rather than a track fork. While I wanted something with a steeper rake, I settled with this. It has been quite fun.

The original fork has a pretty good amount of rake on it anyway--I'm guessing close to 40mm--so the road fork probably isn't too far off. In fact, given that the head tube on these isn't all that steep, you'd probably wind up with too much trail and screw up the handling if you put a typical 28 or 30mm track fork on there.

Anyway, yours looks great--in way better shape than mine. Enjoy it!

That beautiful, efficient Japanese simplicity along with the touch of color in the tires... nicely built.
