it's funny - this is literally the exact set-up i was thinking about for my own '06 FTP, which i recently acquired. how do you like the integrated seat post? is the ride stiffer? i would be a little apprehensive - for it seems a very track specific feature - for street riding and then riding in more versatile terrain (as you seem to be doing!) i would like to be able to fidget with the height. at any rate, this is an extremely beautiful build and an inspiration for my own when the time comes (waiting for the weather and my bank account to improve, lol). thank you so much for sharing!

I really like the integrated

I really like the integrated seatpost. The frame is stiffer than the FTP 2008, but I think that not only because of the lack of the seatpost. And it just looks great:)
I don't ride it in a terrain, it's only the forest next to the asphalt road;)
Thank you for your comment and good luck with your build!

Did you...

Did you paint the sidewalls of the rims?
Nice build! Take her to the track for valentines day!

Sidewalls

Yes, I did it with a spray can. I hope it will see the track one day;)
