Vintage Gazelle Roadbike from 1974. Rebuilt around a NOS frame, which comes in original and rarely seen cognac-brown color. The frame is made from partly chromed Reynolds 531 Steel tubing, all handbrazzed in the Gazelle workshop in Dieren, with white striped long cut out lugs and the famous "manneken" brakebridge, brazed on cable guiding.

I tried to make the setup like the standard setup you could buy in those days, as seen in the old catalogues, i thought it would be more nice than building "just another" Campy Super Record bike.

Chain needs some adjustment, but the rest was working fine from the start.

mmmm

liking the Japanese setup. Tell me how you'd compare it to Super Record!

NoCampy

...hard to say, as i dont think it makes such a big difference if you use campy or any other serious (!) stuff. this setup works just fine, reliable and smooth for any occasion.
