again, Pack mules and 50.4

A curious triple chainring setup you have there. Not a half-step + granny, nor a straight alpine, but with the middle+granny rings spaced closer together. Is there a particular idea behind it, or were these just the rings you had on hand?

oh, yeah this one was just what I had around at the time. I don't end up riding this bike much, so I haven't made a priority of getting the ratios just right. I like this bike more for the looks than the ride- it's kind of a truck and feels sluggish compared to a Gitane or Peugeot- but so pretty!
