I started this bike with different components then decided to upgrade. It has been a fun project. I hit 38 MPH on the flats today. This bike is wicked fast and a real pleasure to ride. I plan to head over to the LBS and have them weigh it for me. For the money I got invested this bike turned out great. I also have both complete wheelsets. I was able to get both sets for under 300 dollars combined. Overall this build exceeded my expectations especially when I finally rode it with all the carbon fiber components added. I have a black FSA crank but need a BB for it. Plan to swap the derailers to black also. I have a pair of black look pedals on order. Ride like the wind and live life to the fullest!!

Saddle

I road today on this new set up. I was in the bars for a while. The seat angle seem to push me forward and I seemed to constantly readjust on the seat. I made a seatpost adjustment and made the seat parallel to the ground. Much better..... way too much work with the seat angle the way it was. It was ok in an upright position, but for riding in the tri position didn't seem to work for long periods of time. Like someone was constantly pushing me forward off the seat.

I have no idea how that

I have no idea how that saddle angle or super stb drop can be comfortable... but the bike is still super nice!

saddle angle

I was looking at the pictures and I noticed something. The saddle is actually parallel to the top tube. So it is actually in a normal riding position. (If the top tube was raised parallel to the ground)saddle would be the same as any other. May be why the angle is not noticeable, and the ride is still smooth. Anyway just a thought.

ride comfort

Thanx for the compliment. The saddle angle is very comfortable riding upright on the base bar. The design is such that the back flares out making it seat very nice. When I'm in the tri bars it pushes me forward just a bit to where I use little of the seat. In a flat position the saddle caused me some discomfort when getting into the bars, so I angled it down a bit. I am almost 6"3' and the drop for me is hardly noticeable.
