First two numbers of the serial # is the year. I have a '82 Supercorsa.

Mine also sitting forlorn, unbuilt...

I have the 2001 Cinelli Supercorsa in Columbus Neuron, mine a much larger 61cm. Alas, it's still sitting in my office, waiting to be built. If you go Velocity, I'd opt for the most low profile version. A great set of box tubs would be excellent here, imo. Anything too modern would look out of place and numbing. I'd go Cinelli stem and bars (traditional drop) with Campagnolo for build, with Selle San Marco Regal Ti or Concor for the saddle. I'm edging towards downtube shifters, as of late. Campy Chorus is a great compromise and not too far off Record. I wouldn't do carbon fiber anything, either.

Sadly, mine has been sitting for too long. I'm really wondering how it will do with the much more aggressive geometry compared to the original Supercorsa. You see some negative comments on this bike, something I think is just passed around forums as it's the cool thing to dismiss Cinelli after the Columbus sale. Meanwhile, almost everyone that rides this frame for any length of time simply loves it.

Custom powdercoated Velocity Deep V's to match the frame color, and Campy only!

- Velocity rims (stronger)
- Selle Anatomica saddle (most comfortable) - not Brooks
- egg beater C pedals with mountain shoes (you can walk in them)
- Campy Centaur 34-50 (CT) with custom 11-32 Ti cassette (for hills)
- I would suggest schwalbe ultremo tires...
beautiful frame btw...

way to go

keep it italian man. you'll love that frame, it rides really nicely even if it isnt the lightest, greatest tech.

Thanks for the feedback!

Crash Test - sorry it doesn't seem to be a Super Corsa, but some kind of Cinelli off cut. It is an amazingly light frame. Have spoken to other Cinelli owners and they have been pleasantly surprised too.

Much appreciated your feedback!

This makes me really happy to see. It always makes me so happy to see someone with a Cinelli, especially a classic like the Super Corsa. Kudos, and I know you'll enjoy every mile :)

did you just get that off of ebay...
