Reynolds "British Eagle", 56cm, May 1978

ACOR Bullhorns

68/103mm Bottom Bracket, Shun Crankset 42T

Malvern Star Saddle, MKS Toe Clips

Gold Welco Pedals, Gold KMC Chain

Bought the bike as a complete fixed speed (58:20). Touring frame, mismatched wheels, massive chain rings.
Am in the process of making it my own.
Went to Japan recently and picked up some goodies that are finding their way onto the bike piece by piece.
Recently fitted new bullhorn handlebars and wrapped them in cotton 'Harlequin' style - was quite difficult but looks great IMO.
New cranks arrived and will be putting on new chain as well soon.

where did you find a 58

where did you find a 58 tooth chain ring? how much did it cost? if you plan on replacing it, i'm interested.

Hey Kyleshay,The bike

Hey Kyleshay,

The bike actually came with the 58 and I changed it out today for a 42:15 setup.

PM if you're after it, it's still around

nuh uh

that's not can tell it's probably a 52 or 53 because of the radius of the ring relative to the radius of the crank's bolt circle (e.g. 144mm). i've never seen a 58.

Count them

ATB I tried to count them with my mouse pointer and 58 seems about right.Love the bike with the inverted tourist bars .
