Trek 614 / 58cm / 1981 (?)

Brooks B-17 Narrow

This is my first road bike. I bought it last summer from a guy on craigslist. It originally came with down tube shifters, but they broke, so I replaced them with the stem shifters you see in the photo. I also upgraded the saddle. I'm still trying to decide what to do with this bike, all suggestions are welcome.

First, Lose the brakes. Second, Lose the shifters and derailleur. And last but not least, convert into a track bike. Color is a beautiful tho!

Ride the wheels off of it. Enjoy it.

You can't convert it into a track bike. You might be able to convert it to a single speed or fixed gear, but a frame is a frame and this is a road frame.
