Ascents had the cables routed on the drive-side of the top tube, as I recall (at least the EX model from 91-93 or so). This has top of the tube routing.

Yep...we've got plumbago lining both sides of our deck --it's my standard "backdrop" for bike photos! I don't have room in my house for the repair stand, so that's where she gets set up.
