Fuji Track 53cm, 2004 I think?

Risers, fuji stem

fuji, dunno

Halo aerotrack, radial, maxxis refuse 25c

Velocity, DT Swiss, On One gold hub, laced 4X, some conti 28c tyre, EAI cog (as if I'd use anything else)

Sturmey archer chainset 46t, basically sugino messengers rip off

Fuji post, fizik seat

MKS sylvian track, system ex very big clips, saglife straps

105 caliper or something, cross lever

Cheap beater sort of winter bike. Built the rear wheel myself, first build. Rides nice, strong. Probs my favourite bike ever.

I was looking at your other bikes and I noticed on your Cinelli you have a Velosolo chainring. What did you think of the quality of it?

i really wanna say it was

i really wanna say it was great but cant really. i ordered a 46t and it came, said 46t on it, and a few weeks later i noticed that it was actually a 48 (noticed because it was giving me 1 skid patch instead of 4 or something)

had trouble fitting it too, its too narrow where the chainring bolts sit so i had to use spacers behind each bolt with the messengers.

also have a bit of a tight spot on the chain too so guess its not that round.

next time i would spend a bit more and go for a sugino ring or something.

I like it when "beater" bike are ACTUALLY bikes that can be beaten up. This is a good bike that serves it's purpose without costing a bazillion dollars and having bedazzled H Plus Sons. Just like mine!

cheers, beaters are the way

cheers, beaters are the way forward, i can drag it over pretty much any terrain and lock it up without worrying, and it still rides pretty nice.

think its good to get a balance between 'bike is way too fragile and expensive to ride' and 'bike cost £1, dont wanna look at it let alone ride it anywhere'
