Please forgive the filth, the non matching silver spacers and black stem, and whatever else you may find to criticize. It is a fun bike to ride on the street, although I find myself sometimes wishing it had more of a road-ish geometry on longer rides. The zero-setback seatpost and the lack of rail length on the Brooks makes it impossible for me to have the seat back far enough. Still, I'm keeping it in hopes of learning to ride track over the winter in London (Forest City). Changes I am hoping to make for comfortable street riding are a nice classy setback post, a slightly longer polished stem, 700 x 25 Panaracer Paselas, and a front brake. Yes!

EDIT: changed the bars, stem, and put some 700 x 25 tires on

Luv them bareknuckles!!!

Looks real classy with that Brooks saddle. The gold accents on the headset is what sets it off though!! Good choices!!

sick

thanks a lot! originally it had gold Steelwool hubs (to match the headset) with woodgrain Deep V's, and track drops with perforated brown faux leather bar tape. it looked a lot different then and I think I sort of regret selling those wheels.

too sick

instead

instead of swapping out hardware to be less cramped why not upgrade to a larger frame?my 52cm knuckle-for instance-may suit you much better.ive been searching for a 50cm bk to trade down to for a while now so pm me if you'd like to negotiate a frameset trade!

Hey

Not a bad idea, but I think the standover would be a bit too much on the 52 for me. Plus, I'm in Canada which may make the trade a bit tricky!
