My everyday rider Schwinn. This one is my third and favorite fixie, built by me from the ground up. Started by removing the braze-ons, grinding off the derailleur hanger, and then stripping the frame down to the metal and painting it (True Value sage green) and clearcoating it (Every time I paint a bike this way, I promise myself to never do it again. I think this is the final time- the next one is going to the powdercoater). Other components were added from here and there. Random parts mix includes a pretty nice NJS alloy headset. The SKS fenders are important for the damp NW climate.

I love steel bikes and I also ride a Soma Smoothie ES.

The other day, a girl at a party said she wanted to lick my bike.

Show me the stiffness.

Hence "sold"

This is exactly what I was thinking when I was trying to build my coasterbrake bike. Great job.
