Picked up the frameset from ebay and have been gradually acquiring parts since. Believe the wheels were actually used as a training set by Australian track cyclist Kerrie Meares. Happy with the Fuji - very light and responsive, although it does sound like your riding a tin can which feels a little weird when you've previously only ridden steel. Happy as is for now, might look to try a clipless system in the future. Hoping to throw a smaller cog on and have a go at the local track this summer. Also thanks to octopus magic for some advice on the fuji!

*My dog - adopted 22/08/10 - he's a choc lab, his name is Doug!!

*2012 - Now got time atacs on there. Feels great.

Planning to throw some differnt bars and a brake on and do some longer rides.

pit/lab mix???

Def a lab mix of some sort. Not sure tho, he was adopted. Prob not pitbull, they are pretty much illegal is OZ, maybe some rottie or mastiff. He's pretty big for a lab, around 50kg and def not FAT!

Pretty dope build you

Pretty dope build you had,and then you put ugly stickers on it.

Yeah I guess, just wanted something differnet. I actually like the more black version of the FTP better, think it was the 08 model. Thinking about powder coating over the winter...

The dog is way doper actually...

couldnt get doper really

couldnt get doper really nice build.. i had read about that problem with the thick cog threading on the ellipse hubs (too wide)?? am looking for pair of my own, do they sound/feel strong enough for the streets? thanks, and again so sick!

Thanks - they feel great to me.

I used a surly cog which was fine. But normal lockrings won't fit. Waited about 3 weeks for one to be sent from Mavic, never came, so used a phil wood and it was all good. There are a couple of threads on the forums here which I read up on before purchasing.

I love it! looks great the
