I just ordered a Flite 100 and really like the threadless to threaded conversion you've had done. Can you tell me more about the process? where did you get it done, and how did they do it? ie. Die or lathe?
have you had any issues with thread alignment?

Actually the KHS flite

Actually the KHS flite 100’s fork is already 1” , but it is supposed to be used with threadless stem(which I don’t like), so I just modify it by cutting down the steer tube height to make the correct height size and make it threaded for my “tange levin threaded headset”.

I really love the quill stem

I really love the quill stem and have wanted one on my flite ever since i got. It seemed to me the only way to convert was to buy a whole new fork or find a used one, which seemed like a lot of BS for an aesthetic change. UNTIL i saw your bike which has the same fork just modified. IS there a resource you used to aid you in this conversion? If so would you send it to me?
