single speed

Original plan was to make it a fixie..fuck it! i'm going with a 3 speed hub, rear rack ,new crank set, a new brooks seat, possibly a front basket to carry whatever? then calling it a day! *should have everything done in 2 weeks.

thanks, man.. yeah post those pix! i put alot of miles on this thing! mostly touring, so i'm thinking either a 3 or 5 speed hub (i have just enough hills to "need" those extra gears, def not 10 or more thou 3- 5 will work!) till then i'll have to power thru it.. hike & bike a few sections lol (not gonna lie!) As for the rest, i'm keeping the paint as is. adding: blk fenders/chain guard, basket for my drink of choice etc and a new saddle.~ peace

cool bike - get rid of that

cool bike - get rid of that pie plate and slap that 3 speed on there. Are you making it a 700c 3 speed? where are you getting it from, or are you building it yourself?

pie plate

I dont have the tools or patience to mess around with it too much, so i'll take it into my local shop. yeah...that plate is killin me! I stripped the bike in an hour or so with the intention of just making it a rideable single speed. over the past few days i added new bars and "brakes" etc

If anything the bike is very stable and reliable,i use it daily! (finished up a 20 mile loop a few hrs ago)- thanks
