He's right with overlap. I

He's right with overlap. I have 165's, and it's the same deal, but I ride a 49 cm. You can't just be switching out to 165s as you please. If he's riding 54 those won't fit him.

Upside though, is that the BB is raised enough for you to lean like a pro. I lean like hell into turns, and haven't struck floor yet.

P.S.

this build is really awkward. It's clearly a budget with everything cheap in the world of ebay on this thing. But it wouldn't have costed that much more to have a decent bike. I'd consider a few upgrades if you already paid so much for it. It's not worth it to ride a Visp with shitty components.

Good luck man.

Visp

Did you really just say "It's not worth it to ride a Visp with shitty components"? Oh man. They cost 120 on ebay. What frame would be worthy of shitty components? Don't get me wrong, I bought a Visp. It's awesome for a shitty bike. I just want to live in the world where it's not worth it to ride a Visp with shitty components. Please, let me live in that world for a day.

maybe your crankarms are too

maybe your crankarms are too long? i dont have overlap with an 165mm sugino crank
