bullshit on weight

I'm gonna call BS on 13 lbs without pedals, that's quite a stretch for an AL frame and your parts list. Try maybe sub 17 lowest

He's right

I just got an Ellsworth track bike from a buddy of mine that worked there and with my build it only weighs 15 pounds. My buddy, after owning it for a while, put a seat stay bridge and a gusset on the top tube to seat tube and its still really light (not that they weigh all that much) I haven't weighed it with my race wheel-set yet, but when i do it will probably weigh around 13. Pics will be up shortly.

i can see more than 13 but

i can see more than 13 but less than 17

what's the point

of putting the weight of a bike up "without pedals"??
You need pedals to ride the bike so in reality that weight means nothing.
Is it because with pedals it weighs over 14lbs and doesn't sound as good? ;)
nice though

bogus

lol, no decent manufactures list frame or complete bike weights with pedals (or even paint) so if there is some sort of industry standard for listing weights, he followed it closer than your logic.

yep your'e right

it would be difficult to list a frame weight with pedals....
it's a pretty light bike whichever way you look at it
