I've had a few fixed gears, but this is the first one that I have completely built from the ground up. I'm very happy with the way she came out... Still contemplating on stripping the paint from the frame and running the raw aluminum. This bike is an absolute blast to ride. Big thanks to City Grounds, Chari and Co, Capital Cycles in Annapolis, and most of all... Capital One.

She's for sale now... Time for another build. Only a few miles on it. PM me an offer, MD pickup only.

Harbor

Really nice back drop for your bike! I really miss that area of MD! Living in Hawaii now isn't bad, but miss that culture. Love the whip and hope it sales to a qualified buyer.

Awesome build man!

I'm jealous. This is my favourite aluminum frameset out there. I think you should wrap more of the bars. Why leave the bend uncovered? Looks kind of funky with so little wrap on there! Nice build nonetheless.

Yeah

I planned on wrapping them all of the way, but just did the ends on a whim. It's hard to see in the pictures, but I also have carbon bar ends, seat post, and headset spacer. The pictures really don't do it justice, the carbon goes together quite well in person. I actually like it a lot exposed... I just can't lock this bike up anywhere.

raw is real

Ok, THAT is cool.
You go ahead and do something like that. :)

Yeah

I saw that one.. I think it looks pretty good like that. This is the one that inspired me though. He did a really good job on this...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STRIP THE PAINT!!!!
I'm begging you, don't.
It's beautiful the way it is!

HAHA

... Well I can say that I like it much better with all of the components on. When I had just the frame sitting at my house, I wasn't too crazy about the paint scheme, but I think it came together pretty well with the components.

That would look cool with

That would look cool with the paint stripped off for sure, and maybe paint the fork some flashy color or something.

Yeah

I just haven't had the balls to do it yet... I think it might even look good with the stock colors on the fork.
