I built up this bike starting with a vintage 1986 Eddy Merckx Corsa frameset, then added a newer Campagnolo Chorus 10-speed double gruppo, DT Swiss wheelset, and 3TTT stem and bars. I wanted a classic looking bike with modern components, but the modern parts needed to have a classic look to match the frame. That part wasn't easy since most of the new higher end components are starting to have a lot of carbon fiber mixed in. Therefore I went with a slightly older Campagnolo (pre-carbon fiber) 10 speed drive train, with some used parts and some "new old stock." The total weight is 21.4 lb.
