This isn't exactly most people's idea of a dream bike, but it was the first bike I ever owned and I wanted to give it new life. I stripped and repainted the frame; Cecil and Daniel, and David are all cyclist friends who were hit and killed by cars, hence the painted names, top tube wings, and top tube sticker. I had the Cannondale decal laying around and I like C'dales, so I just threw it on there for grins. I built it on the cheap picking up parts here and there from swap meets and generous friends, so it's got a little bit of everything. It rides nicely, although it's a bit too stretched out for my stubby little upper body. I always wanted a red bike.

The name: Gabriel is the patron saint of messengers. Seemed appropriate for the ultimate get-around bike.

love it

well played sir, that is a dope bike!

Would you believe

it started out life as a hybrid with a perfectly-upright quill stem, recliner-esque comfort saddle, and bottom-of-the-line Gripshift components? I'd like to think I'm doing the old girl justice. And by sir, what you mean is miss; I'm a chick wrench.
