I love the basket and the back rack somewhat serves as a fender for short rides. I sewed the waterproof seat cover myself, made the leather top tube saver and red leather straps too. I also punched holes in the side of the saddle and laced it. This was a really fun project.

Basket

The brand is Wald and they are on the lower end of the pricing scale. I put a deeper one on my Ex-gf's bike. She really liked it so I thought I'd give it a try. I like it but having a front basket with stuff in it does change the steering a bit. Not that big of a deal, but it is worth noting. Good luck, there are a lot of options out there!

Yeah it really is a fun casual rider. I've been taking my dog to the park in it. She doesn't mind the basket and really likes the wind in her hair.
