riding the frame since january 2010. initially planned as a budget project it turned out to be a reliable good bike. i use it as my backup oder bad weather fixie. came with the common visp issues (seatpost size 27,4mm, short chainstays) but for the price you pay you´ll get a nice frame that stands daily abuse. i swapped the fork for a columbus carbon tusk air and i love this combination. still think it was a good deal and i love to ride it. thank you for looking at my bike.

get a proper frame if you

get a proper frame if you can afford it. the fork is way to good for a visp frame. but if you´re really looking for a beater this is a good combination.

frame

I bought a visp frame on ebay a while back. I live in chicago and use it daily, and have been for a few months now. Your fine as long as all your using it for is commuting, not doin some dumb ass tricks.

Cheers, Sebastian

which size is it? and how

which size is it? and how much does the frame weigh you think?

it is the 57cm version but

it is the 57cm version but that is measured center bb to end of the seat-tube. normally i ride 59cm center bb to center top tube. i would definitely recommend to buy the frames bigger as usual.

always thought of buying one

always thought of buying one off ebay, but knew that there's got to be problems somewhere. After seeing the track ends in the picture, I'm glad I didn't buy one

For just over a hundred

For just over a hundred bucks, that problem wouldn't be too terrible as a beater. Assuming it can withstand daily use. Which I'm not holding my breath about, but who knows.

Looks like some bad

Looks like some bad engineering on the rear end there judging by how much track end you have to play with.

let us know how the frame

let us know how the frame holds up. I'd be interested to find out.

off course! i´ll you it as my daily-commuter so we´ll see if it stands the test.
