art deco cranks

lets see those cranks, man!

the welder/framebuilder with a herniated disc

the welder/framebuilder friend of mine gave up after two months. not because he's incompetent. he's got a herniated disc in his neck, lol the poor bastard can't turn around so he's got the closed sign on his shop most of the time. I took it to kalavinka and the old man laughed at me (not the first time - I've asked him to do more bizarre things). so now I'm going vintage campy record pista cranks with a campy njs bb (which I didn't even know existed until recently). I would have still preferred the art deco "hand" tho. more original and 1/5th the cost. fuck.

art deco crank - wanna see it

throw a jpeg of it at me

Rudge made the famous hand crank/chainring.

You could just use a rudge spindle or any cottered spindle that will work with your cups and crankarms. Chances are that Rudge crank is splined and swaged, you could grind off the swage and try getting it fastened to a steel square taper crankarm.

Just sayin.

I like that you roll coaster brakes on njs bikes, in keeping with the 110mm spacing.

Maybe you should add some track grips.

pretty chromey, but still clean vintage, nice!
