I'll probably burn in bicycle hell for stripping off the Campy Record gruppo, Cinelli bars, etc., but it's fun and fast. It's a 25 year old lugged steel-frame Colnago that rides smoother than my 2 year old Litespeed Vela.

please don't make me hurt you...

what a nice bike! you WILL

what a nice bike! you WILL burn in hell for stripping it tho! if you enjoy it that way tho that is the main thing. you could always restore it to its former glory at a later date!

Yes, you will burn in hell.

So you might as well enjoy your Mexico the way you want. I have a Mexico that's maybe a year or two younger tan yours. But I'm rebuilding the original SR parts then I'm hanging it in my office.
I'm the original owner so I couldn't give her the single speed hysterectomy.

Hope you kept the parts!
