My ex-girlfriend found this bike on the side of the road for free. It was originally equipped with really uncomfortable drop bars, which combined with this bike's crappy quality made it really unstable. I replaced them with the handlebars from her Columbia 3-speed (acquired under similar circumstances) which had frame-damage. Because both bikes used 26 3/8" tires, I was able to also mount the fenders from her 3-speed onto this frame. It required a lot of work, some drilling, and an extra fender support I had lying around in order to make it all come together. I am proud of this for the fact that I took two unusable bikes, and made one that is both attractive and comfortable to ride. All for a grand total of zero dollars.
