My #1 baby in the stable and a real survivor!. Came to me as a completely beat bike that looked as if it was last used as the transportation of a homeless person. I stripped it apart, found as many period correct parts for it in comparable condition, and polished up the original Coppertone paint. See photo #5 for "before" shot.

People who friended this bike SkidMark, kryptocaine, van, smalllines, phillyc71, Afreelunch, the fumingator, Amani576, datadatadaniel, A-ko, Syrenius, Mu_Empire, campystamp, azorch, per.k, quicksilvermessengerservice

Perfect the way it is.

Leave it that way or you run the risk of a Vintage Schwinn Purist lynch mob forming!

Amen, brother!

You need not fear. This Paramount serves as my stable's epitome of the refurbished, yet unrestored frameset. It shall never be violated by the evils known as beadblasters, sandpaper, and single-stage enamel paint in my lifetime.

It's hideous....

Send it to me, and I'll dispose of it properly.
I can see a nice, lazy century in it's future.

Nice save indeed!!! Looks
