10 speed / needs a bell

- sprayed paint Rustoleum "metallic red"
- friends refer to it as the Firetruck
- got the used Rolls for hella cheap on craigslist
- i heart this bike
- "The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco." -Mark Twain.

- want to put white tires on this bike, so if anyone can recommend some inexpensive but reliable 700c wheels that are like these 27" wheels and take a 5speed freewheel/cassette, let me know

Changed out the really old Rolls seat for a black Brooks, and from steel wheels to aluminum 27". Next things I need is better brake levers, and lighter cranks.

nice bike, have you updated

nice bike, have you updated it -.... was going through an old topic and saw you won the campey cranks etc...

They should work for your bike, but the bottom bracket (if campey) should remain for a better bike, perferrably with italian threads!

Centurions are a good ride, do you like it?

thanks for the comment. In

thanks for the comment. In the end, I put those old campy cranks on my Nishiki (which I converted back to 10speed), because to my surprise, the cranks was made for JIS square taper bb, and I happen to have a JIS bb that fits.

As for the Centurion, I'd did say its a pretty solid ride (though those steel cranks are quite heavy yet indestructible. It now has riser bars and a front basket and is my secondary road bike to my Nishiki. I should get on with new pics for these two bikes with their new respective set ups and all.

Well, I have campey veloce

Well, I have campey veloce bottom bracket for grabs at the moment if you ever wanted to upgrade your drivetrain on the centurion. its shorter spindle though I think 115/110. I used to have it on my cent, before I sold it last week. And campey record c levers which are laying around somewhere in my mess of bike parts.

I hope you don't mind..

I just added your bike to my cluster "Red Chrome".

Check it out here:

Nevermind the bike...
