Bought directly from Japan (big ups to Koteigear on It took almost a year to source all the right parts on my budget, and only few hours to polish them, but I finally got the bike on the road in May. The ride is unbelievably smooth and made me fall in love with cycling all over again.

Classy classy bike, really

Classy classy bike, really nice, I'm jealous

-It can't get any better, and it can't get any worse, things are what they are, so you better get used to it nancy, quit your bitchin'.

I don't really like bikes with shiny, shiny's; but your bike makes me rethink that. I really need to make some time to learn how to polish metal.

BTW, did you have your fork drilled to accomodate the brake? I want to do that.

I liked the look of some

I liked the look of some polished cranks I'd seen, and once I realized how easy it was, I just went for it with all the components (sans rims.) It's a really simple and satisfying process that makes a bike look special, I recommend it!! I can tell you how I did it if you want.

Fork was drilled when I bought it (part of the frame's appeal), but not sure when that happened. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have drilled an NJS frame and just gone with a clamp-on brake kit.
