Reflector?

I cant help but suggest you make use of that rear derailleur-hanger but rigging up a reflector out of a busted rear-derailleur. Could look classy even though its on the wrong side unless you are in England..? Very nice looking conversion (there aren't many of them IMHO) !

Thanks, but these days I

Thanks, but these days I have been thinking of adding a 5 speed rear with a Suntour derailleur....using a thumb or bar-end shifter. Right now it is set up as a single speed with a freewheel.

Getting there

I finished stage two, or three, wherever I'm at with it. So far so good. The rack is holding up great, no rattles, and I love the new pedals! I can wear my dress shoes to work, and hopping on and off the bike is easy peazy with no clips.

I definitely need to upgrade the wheels. These chaep ones are already getting crunchy and the bolts are beginning to rust after just a few months

Thanks Yall

I added a longer stem recently to compensate for the sweep back h-bars. I'm getting a front rack soon as well.

I've also added MKS stream pedals, with no clips or straps. It is nice to be able to go to work in my nice shoes and not have to change into them when I get there.

I still plan to add lights, and a double kick stand, and maybe switch to the freewheel side.

C'est magnifique!

I wish I would see more bikes like this one on VS! Looks great!
