I'm pretty much done working on this. I still have all the original parts, but this is just for riding now.

If you see that my component call-outs are wrong, please correct me; I am continuing research and learning about this bike more all the time.

Nice Atala!

I have a late eighties model, red and white, which is probably the same model as yours. (I think mine is the Special, with Columbus Aelle tubing. My seat tube was slightly dented where the front derailleur clamps on, so I could never get one to sit properly on it. Mine is converted to a single speed commuter; great frame with a tight geometry. Sometimes I wish mine still had gears like yours. Keep riding!

This one. ^

Thanks for the info, the 1990 date was my best guess based on an hour or so of research, so I'll dig further to see if I can get a more accurate model year. I'm just getting back into cycling now after an accident a few years back, and this ride was a donation, so I'm still in the process of ascertaining the parts and their origin. Best of luck!

nice looking bike.what model

nice looking bike.what model san marco is that and how do you like it?

San Marco

The saddle is a Zoncolan Racing, but to be honest I've only put about 30 Km on it since installation, so it's a bit soon to tell. Early impression: light, supportive, not streetwear-friendly.
