This is my everything bike. I've technically raced it at least twice, I commute on it and I travel with it. The only things it doesn't do are trails and the track.
I bought it in early '05 and had it coupled June-July '06. I loved the original color, so I got factory decals and asked to have it repainted the same. The factory decals got mangled somehow, but Bilenky had these wonderful vintage decals lying around, so I figured, sure, why not. I'm pretty sure it's the world's only 'vintage' miniature Bianchi with S&S couplers.
I commute all "winter" long in San Diego, so I often ride in the dark. My main light is a 5W DiNotte LED powered by 4 rechargeable AA batteries. These are great because you can a) carry spares, and b) stop at a 7-11 in an emergency. Take that, Li-Ion! Back-up lights include a Topeak WhiteLite flasher in front, and two Cateye 5-LED reds on the back. Between those, the bright orange color, and the jerseys I usually wear, "I didn't see you" is not an excuse.
Just had a bike fit at the glorious Shaw's Lightweight Cycles in Santa Clara, CA. He moved my seat back a few cm (!) and shortened the stem proportionally. No more knee pain. I'll get a shot of the new setup soon, but I'll leave the other photos because I like them.
