Complete Campy Ergo Drivetrain and happy with it....

Bought new, rode extensively in Europe (late 80s/early 90s), stalked LeMond when I lived in the Eifel region of Germany/Belgium, yada, yada..... Everything but the frame is new today, I can't part with it. Older, do lots of hills today, hence the triple. Rode a 12-23 back in the day, sigh...

This might help

You could upgrade to threadless forks and 31.8 bars, which might give you a bit more squirt when you stand on it.

Just love

These Black Lightnings. Beautiful. You kept the original forks. That's great. Steel works well.I have a 54cm that I turned into a very nifty TT machine. Very comfy and so responsive. Its on my profile. Like the triple on yours. As the great Frank Berto used to say, For the extra few grams of weight a triple adds, the reassurance of always having a gear to get up the hill gives so much peace of mind.

Nice.

Kindest regards

Nice bike!

Nice bike!

Hi, Friend

you have exelent road bikes.

Black Lightning

Yeah, mine's completely stock, '88 model you can see it in my profile. Looks like your frame (mine's a 60cm), you can tell the year from the serno, details at vintagecannondale.com. It looks like it's seen a bit of time and distance since new.. Good frame though.

Just Replyin'

I really like the Rolls on your ride. The larger frame makes your bike look different, mine's a 54cm. I really could have used a 56, but I didn't know back then. Back to the Rolls, I have a gorgeous tortoise shell brown that I'm parting with (had to, numbness) that I bought over in Europe a few years back. I've never seen another like it. I loved that saddle, but have gotten a bit older and gained a few, so I sit different I guess. Anyway the Rolls is so classic.

Thanks for stopping by.
