Used for triathlons in the late 80's, sitting in a basement since. Cleaned up and all original. Haven't seen any other silver/gunmetal Ironmans...anybody got info on this color combination? Matches the dark gray Wolber/MA40 perfectly!

Waterbottle

Love the aero waterbottle! Where'd you get that thing?!

Came with the bike. I think

Original to the bike...when I bought it. I think it might actually be made by Shimmano.

very cool

im so excited im actually getting an old tt/tri bike tomorrow, except its a nishiki funny bike. how do you like those biopace chainrings? i've heard so much bad stuff about them, but sheldon brown liked them.

Thanks! I've heard disaster

Thanks! I've heard disaster stories with the Biopace too, but I've only been riding this bike about 3 weeks. Pretty smooth so far, although I can't really feel that much of a difference with the funky "oval-ness" of the chainring.

yeah they work!

i got the bike and I have already sold it again, but I think the biopace rings do work well for steady efforts. I read that they actually are effective, but shimano did not market them well and people didn't really go for them.
