I found this frame on CL for cause it had chipped-everywhere paint and nothing but a headset. Even given that it was a steal I stripped off all the paint, which was painstaking because old Treks have extremely well done paintjobs with quite a few layers. I almost decided to leave it as a bare frame, as all the lugwork is amazing and clearly silver-brazed once you get the paint off. However, I already had the Roger De Vlaeminck decals and needed to put them on a frame. I wanted it to look like the Gios Torino that De Vlaeminck rode.
{Ha, there's no field for brakes, shifters or derailleurs. Campy SR/Suntour barcons/Simplex Prestige.}
