This is my first fixed gear/track bike. I actually got pretty lucky with it. My friend Sam had gotten me into fixed gear bikes when he let my try the Miyata that he uses for work. On the fourth of July, I walked into Cycle Smithy (a fine bicycle shop) and tried out my KHS. I fell in love with it and impulse-bought the mofo.
It's had a few incarnations, first completely stock with a front brake. Then brakeless with bullhorns. And now, the sort-of track setup. I think I'll keep it this way for a while.
I put on the electrical tape to make it less pretty and more yellow.

Bumblebee tuna? I think it

Bumblebee tuna? I think it would be impossible* to get hit on this bike because the yellow is so ... yellow.

*I hope I didn't curse you just then

I'll get hit some day

I'll get hit some day. It's the fixie curse. At least it will be funnier this way because the color yellow is involved.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention but I went into Cycle Smithy the other day with the girlfriend and we left with a Fuji Track 2005 for her.

Yes, my girlfriend is riding a track bike, and yes I am excited! You must do Bike the Drive this year. We can have our own wolfpack.

Mrs. Greg on a track

Wow, I never thought she'd do it.

Thats what I thought too. A

Thats what I thought too. A great surprise for sure. I'm interested to see what skidding is like on a frame that is 4cm too small for me. I'm guessing it will be easy as hell.
