This was a labor of love. Originally started for a friend in Brooklyn who was going to fund the project, but then her boyfriend started having back problems, so he wasn't riding anymore and she really only wanted a bike to ride with him. I already had "the vision" for it and started collecting parts before she said she didn't want it anymore. It sat dormant for a little while until I started dating a girl and decided to build it up with her.

Started with bare frame, we took down to bare metal, and built this up out of parts I had, parts from friends, eBay, craigslist and online retailers.

Unfortunately, the relationship ended before the bike was done, but I still finished it and gave it to her. Everyone who heard about that after watching the bike getting built up is always like "Why the hell did you do that!?" Well, we stayed friends so I was ok with it, and she is still one of my best friends. Her and the bike now live in Denver, CO.
