People either love or hate Leader frames - I guess I'm one of the lovers. As for the name, a few people nicknamed it "The Batmobile" due to it's stealth figure, and the name stuck. To date, I've owned an Iro Mark V and an Iro Jamie Roy, and I'd have to say the Leader 735TR is my favorite ride.

Note: The thing behind my saddle is just a chain looped through an old tire tube to prevent seat theft. In Davis, no bikes/parts seem to be safe anymore...

(P.S. The Leader I806TR Carbon Track Fork is for sale. I'm currently riding with a different fork that can run a front brake, because Davis police are handing out "No-brake" tickets left and right. So if anyone is interested...I'm willing to let it go for 0, brand new, retails for 9.99 on the Leader site.)

why have a carbon fiber record post anyway? the weight savings of an expensive post like that is probably negated by the fact you have to always sling a heavy chain and tube around it. also, how do you like that seat? I was thinking of getting one.

awesome stuff man... I have a leader, and I don't know why there is so much hate towards the company. Leader love!

that seat protection system is a interesting idea. still doesn't take much to steal that post and saddle though... just cut right through that chain with a good set of pliers and it's all yours. If I had a record post I'd take it out every time I locked it up.

and if you think thieves wouldn't bother...
