Old Schwinn Le Tour

This picture was taken immediately after I got it home from the shop. I quickly fixed the angle of the saddle and, a few months later, removed the brake. This is my first fixed gear. I had it built by lbs and it has been a trusty bike. But now it will have to step aside for my new build!!

What size?

How big was this frame?

The seat tube is 57cm I

The seat tube is 57cm I believe. It is just right for me and I'm a quarter of an inch under 5'10".

I'm jealous, mine's made for

I'm jealous, mine's made for someone MUCH taller than me. I like my old ass bike, but it will be nice to get a frame that fits me.

good thing you had a shop

good thing you had a shop handle the tough conversion process. i converted my own bike to fixie, myself! big mistake.

Yeah, I wouldn't even want

Yeah, I wouldn't even want to bother with an older frame whose measurements are all odd. I don't know enough yet to mess with that. That's why I choose a new frame for my first build. So much easier!!
