Fixed build number three. Kind of had fun with the colors. Handlebars and brakes sucked, though, I prefer the bullhorn bars. Yes, I use brakes with my fixies- we have some big hills that go both up and down.

kicks ass. Road levers don't have enough travel for V-brakes except diacompe makes a special model that will work. Nicely done. I'll look twice when I come across some older MTB frames from now on.

Actually, since it has skinny road tires, I was able to set the brakes close to the rim and still have enough clearance to fit the wheel through. They worked fine, not too much lever travel required and with reasonalbly good modulation. Have a look at my Stumpy, too.
