If anyone has any sort of information on this bicycle or frame please let me know, it'll be greatly appreciated. Seeing it's tig welded I suspect the frame is from around 1994.

20/7/09 Finally completed the 650c/700c Shamal clincher wheelset, they do need new tires. Added a white Flite saddle as well.

6/3/10 Added a C-Record seatpost and a Biodynamic bottle

10/5/11 Currently contemplating to put a Sachs New Success group on this...

16/10/11 Decided to stick with Campagnolo, picked up a Ghibli rear disc too. Looking into getting the frame resprayed.

Nicely proportioned bike

Great looking bike this one Carabo, I think it was the right choice sticking with Campagnolo too.

Sachs new success is neat,

Sachs new success is neat, but for the most part, sh*t. The brakes calipers are crap, and the cranks are total crap. The derailleurs and shifters are nice (low-end campy actually) but thats it.

Hmm not sure, I'll have to

Hmm not sure, I'll have to put the parts on a bike and try :). I've got a complete groupset now and it does look neat. The brakes and levers (non ergo) are Modolo and nicely finished. The crankset is also (Campy) sourced but the derailleurs are indeed Sachs and look very well made.

Looks good

Sachs would look and work well on this as well.

Kindest regards

WOW!!! i loooooooooooooooove

Sweet ride!

Sweet ride!

a friend of mine just picked up one of these frames but neon yellow.

I believe this frame is

I believe this frame is older than 94, from the late 80s.

Thanks for the input. Yes,

Thanks for the input. Yes, it seems to be older indeed. It does have a lot of 2nd generation C-Record parts on it (1987 onwards). I guess it received a respray in the mid nineties, which would explain the new pinarello logo on the headtube.

The frame looks newer to me

The frame looks newer to me than the 1980's. But you might want to go to the Pinarello site and email them your question. It took them a while to respond to a question I asked, but eventually they did.

I would buy this bike in a heart beat. sht looks sic!

Now slam those bars into the dirt! Great bike!
