I used to rock mine with cruiser bars that curved back and to the sides, it was like running in place, and I could bomb through the turns!

I'm a huge fan of the Crit frame and have had mine for 20 years this summer. Rode it on RAGBRAI last summer when it turned 21.
I hate to question your knowledge of your frame, but the head tube looks the same length as my 60cm Crit. Have you checked the serno for the verified frame size? C-drives measure center to center.
