In the process of being restored? Needs non-aero levers shorter stem and pedals. Weird thing about this bike is the geometery. 55CM TT and 51CM ST... weird.

I have this same frame

I have this same frame and color. Not sure about the size.

Mine also has the Bianchi stickers on the seat tube as yours does the downtube. With the exception of the handlebar tape, tires and tubes, mine has all the original parts. The rims on mine are a dark brown color instead of silver.

I thought about contacting Bianchi with the serial number to try to get more info on the bike. Anyone know of a site that keeps track of these old bikes?

I have not been a fan of the downtube shifters. I just purchased a 2006 Jamis Ventura (unused 2 year old bike at my LBS). It has the Shimano 105 group on it. I find that I am much better about shifting with the handlebar shifters rather than just muscling through as I did with downtube shifters.

I am thinking about converting my Bianchi Nuovo 12/v to a singlespeed. I live in Florida and it's so flat that a SS is not really even a thought. It already has the right brakes and a freewheel type rear hub. Conversion will be almost no work.

The purist in me doesn't want to remove the original parts and alter the bike, althought the freewheel is actually a Suntour, so really I'm only removing a Campy front and rear derailer anyway.

Then again, a beautiful frame like this deserves to out on the road.
