Very Nice!!

Loving the Frame! Super Simple!

Brightness in the Bleakness

That bike sure is bright, its like the sun had come out but it was still raining, cheered up my wet and dreary morning ride into work. Nice to see such a beautiful bike gets ridden in dodgy is this your daily ride?

Daily Ride

I mix it up between this and my Merckx. The Cinelli is a LOT light so it's easier to fly up the hills (plenty of them near me!) so the Cinelli does get a bit more action.

Lightness explains it, I was behind you on Clerkenwell Road, I got stuck in a convoy of scooters while you rode the pavement, then you lost me going up the hill towards Holborn, you seemed to rocket up that hill!!

Looks beautiful, and good

Looks beautiful, and good for you for ignoring the trendoids giving you a hard time about the brake/fork.

i probably would have rather seen you get a quality replacement fork and keep the orig. but in any case it's a beautiful bike and it's your bike to do with what you want.

the campy stuff looks great on there.

oh no you didn't

i agree with the previous post.

You What?!!!!!

You Drilled out a vintage track frameset? Thats like buying a vintage Farrari and puting a 1970 volkswagon Bettle engine in it. Shame on you! That bike has no real resale value anymore, let alone any respect for its self. You should have left it hanging in the warehouse and bought yourself an IRO.

By the way, this bike is beautiful.

Totally agree. I had a brake in my first fixie and going to have one in my next. But I'm strongly against drilling a track fork of any kind, vintage or new. If you need a brake, get a fork that enables to mount one.

Nice bike

Nice bike not vintage Cinelli but NICE.

No comment on the drilling.
