this bike shines

Really. I saw this and it brightened my day. Thank you. You've done a wonderful job, I especially love the way the red paint pops with the yellow decals and the *BEAUTIFUL* chromed stays. Absolutely gorgeous. The before pic really shows how far it's come.

Have you thought about sanding the paint off of the headtube lugs to expose the chrome there as well?

Thank you! What a nice compliment!
Although my fork is re-chromed, the rear triangle is the original underlay chrome. The finish is specially rough and thin around the lugs. I'm almost positive that if I strip the paint off the headtube lug, it'll expose details that are better hidden.

I tried hunting for the fluted Suntour crank like yours on the Fuji - also the fluted Superbe seatpost for the true late 70's / early 80s spec. But it was impossible...

1st njs bike i would actually ride

low flange phils + campy omegas, very well done!
ive got some campy montreals to lf phils and they are butter.
what else you upgrading??

yellow Toshi strap end buttons on the way, and that's it.
if i have cash & time, strip the fork to expose the chrome, and a new Sugino MC chainring ( Concor saddle to get a slimmer look. But, for a while, it will stay as is. I'm happy with the outcome.

very very sexy

very very

thank you

Beautiful frame, can't wait to see it built up.
