I have the same bike..haven't ridden it in 20 years, but still in decent shape, wondering what to do with it. Suggestions?

Freaking gorgeous.

Freaking gorgeous. Amazing bike. I am glad to hear you ride it.

I bought mine new in 1987

I have the same frame with the lucky charms campi cranks and the same brake handle (the other got taken out in a crash). Mine says "Competition HF" on the top tube. I bought mine from Len at the bike Nook in San Francisco. He will probably know what year our model came out. That seat looks older then what was around when I got mine.

I raced it for years and it still is my only road bike....

nice!

I'd say 79 or 80, but not later than 81.
Look at the rear derailleur, it's PAT. number tells you the year (or the inside of the hub bolts. Or - as gridplan already mentioned - the cranks, naturally).
Those many panto's are really nice, but the saddle seems to be the icing on the cake (can we see in zoomed in?)!
Great bike, please buy a pair of tan walled tires for this babe!

Looks early 80's to me. Is there a date code on the crank arm? From the Campy timeline at http://www.velo-retro.com/tline.html,

"Starting in 1973 the crank arms have a code consisting of a diamond (1970's), circle (1980's), square (late Super Record), with a number in the center denoting the last digit of the year of manufacture (some exceptions:11=1985, 22=1986, 33=1987 plus others)."

That stem is amazing!
