My first full fixed gear build. I shaved the cable guides and derailleur hanger and filled and smoothed the frame and had it powdercoated lime green. I also had the calipers (DiaCompe), crankarms, stem and handlebars powdercoated white. I only have brakes on because it's also a single speed with a Shimano freewheel (they may eventually come off). Also, it's a work in progress, I'm not crazy about the look of the Brooks so I'll be trying other saddles. I do like the look of the pink chain and the Dimension Big Cheese Stars Pink Grips, however the black headset, pedals and brake levers will have a color change soon.

Like your bike. I've been thinking of converting my Monterey to fixed gear, but not sure where to start. Can't seem to figure out this funny angled dropout that the Montereys have. Not quite horizontal, not quite vertical, and appears to be facing into the bike as opposed to opening out towards the back. Thoughts?
