this frame looks really really similar to the 2010 de bernardi frames.
lovin the color!

is this bike for sale? how

is this bike for sale? how much?

keep the pinarello

Just picked this up, I think the frame will be replaced with a Bianchi Pista Concept I have on order.

you're a dumbass

So about the left overs?

How can I get that track frame???

Soooo I think I will be

Soooo I think I will be keeping this thing after all, ill probably just sell the concept frame or keep both, who knows how im feeling. Anyway, I just put a new campy record crank on it to replace the vintage one, I'll post some new pictures when I can.

A Pista Concept over this

A Pista Concept over this frame? I don't know about that...

Keep the Pinarello

This frame is unique and special. The Pista Concept is neither. I would keep this any day of the week.

(I'm not saying the Concept is no good, but it's certainly not a Pinarello.)

I concur

I'd rather have this than a concept

keep the Pinarello

Keep your Pinarello, every time I step outside i see a concept, i don't even look at the concept twice cuzz there a dime a dozen...if a pinarello like yours is cruising i would wipp neck back untill it hurts. I rarely see a Pinarello even less if its a track bike.
Keep it!!!

concept kinda sucks, plus it

concept kinda sucks, plus it has an integrated headset. Once those bearings are done the entire frame is done.

definitely not true

The bearings don't sit on the frame it self. The headset just doesn't get pressed in like an aheadset or threaded headset. I've blown up a headset on my bmx and the frame is fine.

wikipedia says:

"A relatively new and emergent headset design, integrated headsets do away with the upper and lower cups on threadless headsets and instead seat the bearings directly against the head tube of the frame."

you are describing a threadless headset, a different (and repairable) system.

The Concept: it's threadless, and the cups are integrated. the bearings are removable and easily serviceable, replaceable. The likelihood of the built in "cups" failing is about the same as the bottom bracket failing.

The Pinarello is nice, probably similar ride to the concept, especially in the city, but original for sure.
