Fast as hell, less than 20 pounds, and taking a little getting used to for my 39 year-old ass.

Thanks to Steve at Bell's Bike Shop for the outrageous custom wheels, the outrageous bargains on the cranks and every other thing, and the first-class service. And thanks to Roland from McGlinchey's bar for the build help. I couldn't have cut my fingers so many times without you.

good stuff

I just ordered this frame and I must say I like the build. I really like the spoke lacing in front. I'm sure that and the carbon fork go great together.

How is the carbon fork holding up? I'm thinking about swapping my fork.

It seems sturdy enough. I'm

It seems sturdy enough. I'm pretty big- about 210, but I don't bash my bike around. The whole thing is solid as a rock.

Pretty sharp looking first

Pretty sharp looking first ride! Well done!

I ride a PAKE frame also, and it's been very good to me and like how it handles a lot.

I'm surprised you were able to get this less than 20lbs! I had tons of high-end, lightweight parts on my set up, but still have problems trying to get the weight down. It's mostly because it's a hefty steel frame though.

I was thinking of carbon components, but unless you spend absolutely TOP dollar, you only gain ride-compliance. Even ordinary aluminum components are generally lighter than all but the best carbon stuff.

Keep in mind, it's only a little 51cm.
