This is a 100% original Rabeneick model "Campagnolo" from 1961. The frame is made from lightweight Libellula tubing, with the trademark firefly logo stamped in all of the tubes. Full Campagnolo Gran Sport group.
I rode this bike with cross tyres on the 2009 l'Eroica.

Did you go to skinnier tubs when you got it home? I have a '62 Follis with comparable components, and I've wanted to run wider tires on it, assuming the clearance works.

The clearance should well work for up to 32mm on bikes of that vintage. I still use the Challenge Grifos on this one, i only removed the small side studs with a razorblade. Brilliant tires!
