A nice old frame. Sweet green color. Super beautiful. What can i say? The star lug cutouts. Well, it's hard to find old viner bikes.. whoever has got one, please share it with the world.

I have frame just like yours - same color, looks like the same size (56?). I hammer(!) on my bike all through the winter. The Viner is an amazing bike, it really is. I tell people and they think I'm nuts. But it is the Shadowfax of bikes. Sooo sweet to ride - fast. And a climber!
The finish on my bike is really bad, I have been thinking about doing a new color but seeing your it seems a shame, it is a special color.
Hey! does anyone have any idea how to match up the color? It seems like it would be easy to get it wrong.
thanks- Viner

first conversion i've ever really liked.

Great Viner

I got a 1983 or 1984 Viner Special Professional frame in dark gray/bronze metallic. The paint on mine is in much worse condition than yours, so I am having it completely restored this summer when I get some money set aside. I'll be sure to post it on velospace when it is completed.

Truth be told, Viners sure are beautiful bikes.

thats a sweet conversion.

thats a sweet conversion. i think another saddle would look great.

are you sure to put another

are you sure to put another saddle? i dont know i like it the year fits, but not the country... i'll get a flite titanium in the next days. i will try it out :)

Very clean. Are the wheels 700c?

thank you! yeah the wheels

thank you! yeah the wheels are 700c. although a cheap choice, they are very stable (and heavy..) the rims are alex-rims-something and the hubs are noname. the only thing to complain is that they are not sealed (!), they are for the indoor-track, but anyways i dont like to ride in the rain;)
